Perhaps I Should Subscribe to That Out of Town Paper

I previously mentioned that Inland Empress had a book review published in the December 10, 2005 Los Angeles Times.

Well, a co-worker let me see a page from the December 11, 2005 Los Angeles Times. The page includes an advertisement for the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. The ad begins with the words "Why wait until next fall?" Next to these words, there is a picture of a smiling MBA student.

That MBA student happens to be a co-worker of mine. In fact, she works less than ten feet away from me, except when she's traveling (she was out of town when the ad ran).

So I'm asking my readers - if any of you appear in the December 12 or December 13 LA Times, please let me know.

As far as I know, I have never appeared in the LA Times, thank God.

Ah, but my co-worker's appearance was not an editorial statement (other than "Education is good").
