Experiment

Yep.

From the Tahoe Daily Tribune:

One thing is ubiquitous in Jennifer Gurecki's photos and videos of Kenya: big smiles. Young girls sing and laugh and school children grin with open mouths and bright eyes, as if they can't help it.

Those smiles come despite the underlying burden of a massive AIDS epidemic, rampant poverty and burgeoning international debt in most African countries.

Gurecki, a South Shore women's advocate, recently returned from Kenya, where she worked with a non-government organization called Dolphin to educate school children on AIDS and how to defend themselves from rape.

From China's People's Daily Online:

World soccer's governing body FIFA will send a three-man delegation to Kenya on Friday to resolve the wrangles that have hit the country's football body, local media reported Wednesday.

The FIFA delegation will be led by Pascal Torres, who heads development in the Zurich-based organization, deputy secretary general Jerome Champagne and Ashford Mamelodi, who is in charge of development in Africa.

According to a letter from Champagne to Kenya Football Federation (KFF), the delegation will first attend a clubs meeting on Saturday at the Moi International Sports Center in Nairobi.

The Saturday meeting will discuss various issues affecting the clubs, especially promotion and relegation, play-offs, the Premier League company, representation in KFF and pending appeals.

After resolving issues affecting clubs, the delegation will meet KFF National Executive Committee in the afternoon.

Their meeting will discuss the internal governance of the federation, respect for KFF constitution, launching of Goal Project and FIFA's financial assistance....

And from an Australian source:

A 73-year-old Kenyan grandfather reached into the mouth of an attacking leopard and tore out its tongue to kill it. Peasant farmer Daniel M'Mburugu was tending his potato and bean crops in a rural area near Mount Kenya when the leopard leapt on him, authorities said yesterday.

M'Mburugu had a machete but dropped it to thrust his fist down the leopard's mouth....

P.S. Weebls stuff, animated and live.
