An Error of Comedies

Ever since I saw that someone was searching for Desperation Squad information on my blog, I've had the song "Serious Love" going through my head.

I remember this from In Memory of the Soul Cleanser (long since lost when I jettisoned all my cassettes). I didn't realize that the song was available on an album called Hot Diggity Dogs!. Don't get excited; the album isn't available any more.

Neither is the Green Door.





I had completely forgotten about the Green Door until I saw these flyers at the Desperation Squad web site. Today the site has become a shopping center with a Petco, McDonalds, and various other non-barlike places with no bands.

Now I feel old enough to play shuffleboard (!).

I previously raised the question about whether Interference Inc. was prompt in letting the authorities know that the so-called bombs in Boston weren't bombs. Now a new question has been raised - was Peter Berdovsky prompt in letting Interference Inc. know that the guerilla marketing campaign had gone sour? And should he have informed the on-scene officers that there was nothing to worry about? The issue was raised because Berdovsky videotaped police at a (supposed) bomb site.
