Yeshuowza?
While searching for information on the Feast of Weeks, I ran across this gem, courtesy the Sabbatarian Network (not to be confused with the 700 Club):
True Sabbatarians are any group of people that honor The Creator's True Seventh Day Sabbath (sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday). See the "International Dateline Dilemma." However, there are many various groups that claim to be Sabbatarian 'Sabbath Keepers.' Regardless of their claims, The Sabbatarian Network is neither Judaic or Christian nor is it Islamic (Islam has no True Sabbath); but is composed of True Messianic worshippers of The Eternal Creator, according to the example of the sacrificial ministry of 'The True Messiah' (not IHS or Catholic Jesus). We are not a combination of Judaism blended with Christianity, as are the false Messianic, false Nazarene, and 'Jews For Jesus' church groups. The "Sabbatarian Network" is only composed of "True Followers" of Messiah Yahshua of which some are Jewish by birth and some are gentiles by birth. We do not recognize the Catholic (Nicene Creed) man-god savior, Jesus Christ (IHS), as legitimate, because the Roman Catholic Jesus Christ, as presented to the World, never actually existed, as a God, god or a man; while the human Hebrew Messiah (Yahshua) both existed and exists as our Elder Brother, High Priest, Nazarite Priest, Passover Lamb, The First of The First Fruits, and The Creator's Ambassador (Proxy) to mankind. So far, 'The Messiah' is the First and Only human being to be both "Chosen" and "Begotten" by YHVH. The rest of us, who "Follow in the Footsteps of Messiah Yahshua," are "Chosen," but not yet fully "Begotten" (Truly 'Born Again' or 'Resurrected to Immortality'). There is almost no difference in being "Chosen" and "Fully Begotten," except the passage of time. Time that is required for the "Chosen" to be "Tempered in the Fire," and Time to "Bear Fruit unto Righteousness."
A little bit later, they say more about why they are not Christian:
Christianity: The belief of those who observe and (or) worship (in all or in part) the fictitious Greco-Roman Catholic man-god Jesus (IHS), and (for some) Mary (mother of IHS) according to the rebellious and unscriptural traditions or beliefs (Xmas, Easter, Sunday worship, Lent, The Trinity, Nicene Creed, etc...) of the Ancient Roman Catholic church. This includes all present day Catholic Christian churches, Protestant Christian churches, and all of the non-denominational Christian churches. Even Atheist are practicing catholics if they keep (catholic) Catholic traditions, because actions speak louder than words to YHVH.
For many years we believed and attempted to say that there is false christianity and there is True Christianity. The Truth is . . . ALL Christianity is rebellious and false, and all Christianity is Catholic by both pagan traditions (ChristMass, etc...), and pagan doctrine (Nicene Creed). We are no longer attempting to put a square peg into a round hole. The concept is simple, if anyone observes even one (unscriptural pagan) Catholic tradition or the Nicene Creed, then that person or group is pagan and Catholic by their actions; whether they are aware of this fact or not. This is unfortunately the predominant religion of the entire Earth. This universal religion uses "multiplicity" to disguise itself as hundreds of various faiths, and non-faiths, including Trinitarian Hinduism. Christianity is Satan's greatest psychological achievement in deception, as it feeds the desires of a rebellious unrepentant heart with delusions of salvation. Additionally, Christians worship the fictitious Greco-Roman Catholic man-god Jesus, while the True Messiah was merely a (human) Jewish man ("Set Apart" by YHVH), and has a Hebrew name (Yahshúa, Yahushúa or Yeshúa). The true phonetic translation (transliteration) for Yahshúa is Joshúa, not the illegitimate Greek name of Jesus (IHSOUS or IESOUS).
Additionally, Christianity is a deceptive form of "Polytheism," and a religion that feigns (and has feigned) legitimacy through the usage of both political and military power; It is the covert (Ecumenical) operative name for Catholicism. Recall if you will the historical facts of the multiple international "Inquisitions," "The Crusades," and even (the recently admitted guilt of) "The Holocaust" against Jewish and Gentile Sabbatarians by Christianity (and those who practiced Christianity). We do not believe that True Worshipper of YHVH would ever have been associated with Religious Ecumenism through murder or war. This war is actually continuing against the present day Islamic Religions, who keep a midday Friday Congregational Assembly (Not a True Sabbath). So where are "The Peace Makers," who make peace through the power of YHVH's Holy Spirit of Love?
Just to show that it is possible to be seventh-day...and Christian...and scriptural (and, incidentally, a copyright violator):
Over the past 300 years Seventh Day Baptist have made several changes in their statement of belief. The present statement says "We believe in one God ... who exists eternally in three persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit..." Click here for the full statement.
I would like to add two basic comments. I want to first make an observation about Jesus' statement in John 8:58 (NIV) "I tell you the truth" Jesus answered, "Before Abraham was born, I AM". I believe he was equating himself with the One who revealed Himself as the Supreme Being in Exodus 4:14 (NIV) "God said to Moses, 'I AM who I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: "I AM has sent me to you." This is the reason the Jews who heard Jesus say it were going to stone him (John 8:59). His statement to their ears was blasphemy.
Second, regarding the Holy Spirit, I believe that in the Bible the Holy Spirit is so often described as having the attributes of personality that to think of him as just the impersonal power of God falls short of an accurate description of him. To me to say there are three Personalities in one Godhead is simply an incomplete effort to explain in human terms a Diety (sic) that will be beyond our ability to fully understand and describe in this present time.
