Delay in Christopher Nance trial

His Weatherdude site does not (as of this moment) have the update, but his christophernance.com website does:

My suit against NBC has been delayed but when I get the new trial date, I will pass it along. Great things will happen as a result of this suit so continue to pray and intercede with the Lord on my behalf.

And Nance talks about God's will and KNBC:

On September 19th 2002, I was told by Paula Madison and Tom Carrins that it was “Politically Incorrect”, to read my Bible in my free time while at work. I continued to read my Bible and was fired for doing so three months later. Since then, when God was asked to leave KNBC, the show that I was on for 15 of my 18 years at NBC fell out of first place for the first time in its history, the network fell out of first place and both KNBC and NBC are on a downward decline. The show and the network were successful because Christians like me prayed to God for the prosperity of our work place. Now the Christians at NBC have been told that God is not welcome there and I believe that the Lord has removed His blessing from the place where I worked and prayed. NBC recently put on a show that mocked God, called THE BOOK OF DANIEL. This program has recently been canceled. God will not be mocked and that is why I am certain of the out come of my upcoming trial.

Continue to vote with your television remote and send a message to the Networks. Remember, they work for us. You hit NBC the hardest during February, May and November. Those are big ratings months and that is when most of you have been switching off NBC and watching other stations. You are making a difference with your prayers and your viewing practices. Calls, letters and e-mails won’t work, because the Networks don’t care what you think. Use your remote and send a powerful message.

But before you touch that remote in support of Christopher Nance, ask yourself - did Satan make this up?

At NBC4, according to numerous current and former employees, Nance has developed a reputation for profane and menacing off-air behavior, marked by sexual innuendo and violent outbursts. In an incident now legendary at the station, he once called a technical director a "cunt" in front of the morning crew, reducing her to tears. He had the same effect on a well-known anchor, telling her "fuck you" as she sat at the news desk. On yet another occasion, he shouted down the station's vice president--also female--vowing to "shove my foot so far up your ass you're going to taste shoe polish."

Happy happy weatherdude. But look at the interaction between these three people, all of whom have since left Channel 4:

When Nance shared the anchor desk with the long-running team of Kent Shocknek and Kathy Vara in the late '90s, the atmosphere on the Today in L.A. set was frequently so tense that some colleagues spoke, only half jokingly, about coming to work in a bulletproof vest. The clash was ugliest between Nance and Shocknek, a strong personality himself. During the weathercast Shocknek would sit with a watch--at the request of management--and calculate how much of Nance's airtime was spent promoting his school visits. Just to irritate Shocknek, Nance would use the commercial breaks to trumpet his latest publishing exploits. "God told me to go out and make a million dollars writing books for kids," he would announce. Vara, described by several people as the "marshmallow" of the group, usually tried to stay out of the way But once, Nance lit into her, too, unleashing a string of obscenities; by the end of the newscast, she was in tears....

Back to christophernance.com (which does not include these incidents for some reason). It turns out that Nance is doing the Lord's work in Hawaii:

For the first time in 10-years I will not be at the Festival of Books this year at UCLA. I have a home in Hawaii now and will be doing an event there.

My health is better than ever and I thank you for your many prayers, don’t stop.

Nicholette is well and we just celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary.

Ah, Nicholette. And for those who think we're a Christian nation, look what the Satanic U.S. Department of Justice did to this fine woman:

NORTHRIDGE WOMAN SENTENCED TO 30 MONTHS FOR STEALING OVER $3 MILLION IN TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT FROM NESTLE

A San Fernando Valley woman was sentenced today to 30 months in federal prison for stealing well over $3 million in telephone equipment from her employer, the Nestle Food Corporation in Glendale.

Nicholette Norma Nance, 37, was sentenced by United States District Judge Consuelo B. Marshall, who additionally ordered the defendant to pay $3,376,827.23 in restitution to Nestle. Nance had pleaded guilty last year to one count of conspiracy and one count of subscribing to a false tax return.

Nance, who was employed by Nestle as the manager of voice communications, stole electronic equipment from Nestle from early 1995 through 1999. Early in 1995, Nestle began upgrading its telephone systems at its Glendale offices. The work included replacing telephone circuit boards from outdated systems, which Nance would steal and then give to her ex-husband, Raymond P. Novak, who would resell the boards.

Beginning in 1996 and continuing though 1999, Nance began ordering new telephone circuit boards with fraudulently created Nestle purchase orders. When the products were delivered, Nance would steal the parts and deliver them to Novak for resale. Nance was able to steal the circuit boards by placing them in a box near her workstation until she was satisfied that no one at Nestle had noticed the purchase; she then delivered them to Novak in the parking lot at the Robinsons-May department store in North Hollywood.

When the conspiracy between defendant and Novak first began in 1995, they evenly split the proceeds of the thefts. Nance and Novak were divorced in 1997 and, beginning in April of that year, she took three-quarters of the proceeds.

Nance filed tax returns for tax years 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 that failed to include the income she derived from the sale of the stolen parts. In tax year 1997, she received approximately $397,580 in income from the conspiracy that she did not declare on her federal income tax return.

The case was jointly investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the IRS-Criminal Investigation.

Release No. 03-016

But that's OK. It's Nestle. And they're evil. So it's good to take Nestle property for the Lord's work.

Joel and Victoria Osteen are looking better and better. Remember that the Feds didn't prosecute Victoria.
