Using Search Engines As Records of Opinion

When the Feds get a hold of all that data from the search engines, they'll discover that most of us aren't using the search engines to find naked Elastigirl pictures, but are instead using the search engines to state our opinions on a variety of topics.

Here are two samples of this practice:

03/16/06 18:39:48 Boy George "stupid" (Yahoo)
03/16/06 18:01:04 joel victoria osteen false teachers (MSN)

And here are some other interesting items, harvested from Blogpatrol:

03/16/06 18:54:15 continental flight ontario houston december 27 2005 looking girl (Yahoo)

No, Yahoo doesn't store plane passenger lists. I don't think.

03/16/06 17:50:43 us/ca citizen border requirements via maine (Google)

I understand that New York and North Dakota (not that North Dakota exists) are much more difficult to get through.

03/16/06 17:42:09 Ken Gee Ehrlich husband candice michelle (Google)

I didn't know that anybody had a middle name of "Gee." Or has Google gone foe net ick?

03/16/06 16:48:21 ceo new oil drilling companies edmonton alberta for donations (Google)

Considering recent profits, I don't think oil company CEOs need donations.

03/16/06 16:30:47 britney spears, hawaii, hypodermic needle (Google)

I guess K-Fed hasn't done his "just say no" rap yet. Actually, the story (courtesy Bricks and Stones) is somewhat different - Mrs. Federline is just being a little careless in covering her feet:

Britney put your shoes on!

Pop music’s number one mummy stirred media interest when she was taken to hospital after stepping on a hypodermic needle.

Britney was in Hawaii working on her new and long-awaited album when the incident occurred. However, Brit must have confused the car-park for the beach as she leapt out of the car bare-foot to buy a bottle of water.
