Miss Security contest
For the first time, in the framework of the IX Forum the beauty and mastery contest was held among the servicewomen of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation. The contest was held by initiative of Zaschita EXPO company, with support by the Department of Information, Regional, and Public Relations of the Minic\stry of the Interior of Russia. The idea of holding a beauty contest among the Russian militiawomen was supported by the Ministry of the Interior Boris Gryzlov.
The contest hosted 17 militiawomen in ranks of private to captain, and the servicewomen of the troops of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia. The contest won wide public attention and was well covered in the media. The reports about holding the contest and its results was placed on the newslines of 9 information agencies (Inerfax, Itar Tass, RIA Novosti, Associated Press, Rosbalt etc.) Reports and information rollers about the contest were issued on over 10 TV channels (ORT, RTR, Euronews, RBC, NTV, TVC, Stolitsa, Moskovia, TV ZAO, DTV, TV Rikor, 3 Channel etc) and by radio stations (Ekho Moskvy, Avtoradio, Narodnoye Radio, Nashe Radio, Golos Rossii).
