I feel sorry for this searcher, who was probably trying to find information on Elton's mid-1970s beautiful piece "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word." (Fifty million times better than "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," by the way.) Instead, the searcher ended up reading about various musical candidates to replace Kofi Annan as U.N. Secretary General. At least he didn't have to watch the interview.

Now this is really tangled, and implies that the lesbians went to Ontario Christian. As you know, it was the PARENTS of a high school student that were lesbian. Incidentally, this film about Ontario Christian High School lesbians is a double-feature, along with the film about Esther the Big Breast Molester.

I always get search hits on this topic. Funny, I can't even remember mentioning it (although I obviously did). I certainly didn't put it in the post thinking, "Hey, this will get me some hits." Frankly, even though I'm a Redskins fan, and even though I watch Sunday Night Football, and even though I vaguely remember the incident (did Cosell announce it?), I rarely think about it. But a lot of people apparently do; they even search for the video. (I wouldn't want to watch THAT. Yucko bucko.)

OUT at KSPN
This has to be short and sweet, due to my contractual obligations. But they run out on November 5th..and after that I'll be back with all the info.
I am no longer an employee at KSPN . I was told my contract will not be renewed. Today was my last day. I am free to talk with other stations, although I can't start with anyone until November 6th. To everyone who's always supported me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. To those of you who are happy about it, enjoy!
But I'll be back........

Remember when McDonnell posted this after Doug Krikorian was fired? (Emphasis mine)
I'm on vacation from the show until July 7th. When I get back...they'll start auditioning co-hosts. I'm not happy about Doug being fired, but give it a chance to work. It may not be the McDonnell-Douglas Show, but hopefully it can--eventually--be entertaining and informative, just like the MD Show was. And who knows, maybe they won't find anybody good, and they'll ask Doug to come back. Or maybe they'll get rid of me. Who knows? But I'm just asking you to give it a chance before you desert the show........
It's not like McDonnell was a magical seer. It's just that McDonnell has been in the radio business for a while, and knows that no job at any station is safe. Even when you used to be part of the management for said station.
I may (or may not) have more to say about this later, but let's get back to looking at my Blogpatrol search hits. See, I told you I find out about the news by reading Blogpatrol.
