I am a mother of a 7 month old and a 2 1/2 year old. I almost used them as an excuse to NOT have a house party (with the sleep deprivation and difficulty having a phone conversation and all). Then I realized that because of them I HAD to do something. We only have 5 months until the election and if one of my main jobs as a mom is to keep my children safe, then I cannot let George Bush get reelected. Stop thinking about it, and start inviting everyone you know to a Kerry House Party! You can do it. We have to.

I had made contributions to the campaign and had been involved in our local grassroots effort, Texans for Kerry. But it wasn't until the house party that I began to feel a deeply personal commitment to the campaign--that I really owned it personally. By opening my home, extending invitations, preparing the environment, the food, the fundraising table, the name tags, I felt, "Wow, this is my campaign too; this is my opportunity to participate personally in the political process." Friends and neighbors across the country are gathering to ensure Ralph Nader and Peter Miguel Camejo have the resources to discuss serious issues this election and shift the power to the people. The Nader/Camejo Campaign needs funds to give the status quo the most important civics lesson it has ever received!
Together we CAN make a difference. If 250 individuals in each state hold a House Party that raises $1000, that's $12.5 million dollars and hundreds of thousands of individuals who will be organized and motivated to vote for Ralph and Peter on November 2nd.
What is a House Party?
A House Party is a small-scale fundraiser held in a residence or free community room by an individual or group of individuals who want to help spread the word about this campaign. It is a way to involve you and your friends and neighbors in the political process. House Parties not only help raise funds and generate volunteers for this grassroots campaign, but also are a great way to encourage dialogue about important issues and to have some fun with friends, neighbors, relatives, and co-workers. We’ll provide materials to keep the party fun and informative, after you've signed up!

The Badnarik '04 Street Team is simply a collective of Badnarik supporters across the country, each dedicated to spreading the word. Anybody is a member as soon as they begin promoting Michael. Word of mouth is the most powerful form of spreading messages, and when the message is as powerful as this one, it can reach farther than any TV ad could ever do. Offered on this page are missions you can take part in to help make this happen. A number of resources are available to help you in your efforts, as well as coordinate with other street teamers near you to develop even stronger efforts in your area.
WRITE A LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Everytime you see an article about certain policies Bush or Kerry are proposing, present the Libertarian position and express the benefits. Everytime you see the name of Ralph Nader in your newspaper, write a letter to the editor! Express your confusion as to why they would cover a candidate with no mathematical chance of winning over a candidate that will be on 49, likely 50 state ballots this year. Let them know that ignoring this candidate is unacceptable.
TALK UP BADNARIK IN CHATROOMS AND MESSAGE BOARDS
When politics come up in discussions on chatrooms and message boards, let those involved know there's another option this year! Stick around and answer everyone's questions, and if you need help get reinforcements from fellow supporters!
SEND PEOPLE TO THIS WEBSITE

Whenever talking with someone interested in Badnarik, it's imperative that you get them to visit this website, where even more of their questions can be answered, and hopefully they'll turn into another supporter like yourself.
LET FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND CO-WORKERS KNOW
Make sure all of your friends, family, and co-workers know who you're voting for and why. They'll likely accuse you of wasting your vote. Flip the argument and prove to them that they are indeed the ones that are voting for evil, no matter their choice. Make as good an argument as possible, and get them to visit this website. Try to gain one more Badnarik supporter a day!
ATTEND MEETUPS, COORDINATE EFFORTS
Be sure to attend any Badnarik meetups or LP party gatherings in your area. Teaming up with other supporters both in your area and online will enable you to broaden your efforts, and may generate some great new ideas on how to go about it. Strength in numbers!

Put the free bumper sticker on your car. Post the yard sign in your front yard. Post a link to this website in your e-mail and message board signatures. Use a Badnarik buddy icon. There are countless ways to display your support for Badnarik, and they are all great ways to invite curiosity and questions.
Then again, neither Kerry nor Bush got arrested in St. Louis; Badnarik did.
