When There's an At Will, There's a Way
Christina in Concord recently celebrated her one year anniversary of being fired from Valley Veterinary Hospital, a few days after announcing that she was pregnant and couldn't perform all of her duties (e.g. the heavy lifting). The reason for her termination wasn't stated, but she did get unemployment and disability, which was a positive for her. She ends her post as follows:

Actually, my point in posting this is I feel it was the best damn thing to ever happen to me. My house has never been cleaner, I get to stay home with my baby, and we eat a homecooked meal everynight.

So, thank you Valley Veterinary Hospital. Your incompetence has made my life complete.
