How Kerry Can Win
Hire the employees of stupid employers. Kerry has a confirmed fan in Moulton, Alabama:

One of the most recently hired members of the John Kerry presidential campaign said that she will board an airplane today at noon bound for Jacksonville, Fla., where she will join the candidate's staff there.

Lynne R. Gobbell said Sunday that she expects to be in Florida for at least two days and during that time will give an interview to CNN.

Gobbell is the Moulton woman who said she lost her job at a local factory for refusing to remove a Kerry-Edwards bumper sticker from her car....

"Two or three of them were Republicans on one show and they were all on my side," she said. "They say they really couldn't believe he (Enviromate owner Philip Geddes) had done that."

Geddes allegedly fired Gobbell Sept. 9 for refusing to remove the political sticker.

He has repeatedly declined to return calls to THE DAILY.

His telephone was listed Sunday as disconnected.

Gobbell said that she met with Geddes' representatives last week and they offered to give her her job back.

"But that's all they had to offer; they didn't offer me any security that I would not get fired (again) or back pay."

Kerry talked to and hired Gobbell as a paid staff member after his campaign staff read about her plight in The DAILY's Sept. 12 edition....
