William Nesler Captured By Our Next Governor?
Now I see why people have been searching for William Nesler; he surrendered:

Tuolumne County fugitive William Nesler gave himself up to a Sacramento bounty hunter Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators say the 23-year-old Nesler beat to death 45-year-old David Davis two weeks ago. The alleged attack occurred in Sonora, just an hour after Nesler was released from the Tuolumne County Jail, where he'd been held for assaulting Davis last month.

Nesler's family had expressed fears for his safety if he surrendered to authorities. Sacramento bounty hunter Leonard Padilla had talked with the FBI about helping bring Nesler in safely.

Nesler gained notoriety more than a decade ago when his mother, Ellie Nesler, fatally shot a convicted child molester in a Tuolumne County courtroom.

And it turns out bounty hunter Leonard Padilla is gaining notoriety right now; he's running for governor:

Leonard Padilla, law school president, bounty hunter and candidate for governor today calls for Californians to make dramatic cost cutting measures in a state reeling from a multi-billion dollar deficit by:

Downsizing government immediately....

Cap all California state employee’s (from the governor on down) annual salaries to not more than $60,000 until the state gets back on its financial feet.

Establish a legal procedure whereby California pays the state’s 38 billion dollar debt by withdrawing funds from the state’s over funded retirement system....

Ending a futile and expensive war by decriminalizing the growing and subsequent use of marijuana. Taxing of this product would create a revenue stream in the billions of dollars. These much needed funds would be better spent on California’s educational system.

Cutting state prison expenses and downsizing the out of control prison industry, one of the largest political contributors in the state, by deporting non violent illegal immigrants now serving prison terms....

Legalize gay marriages in California and allow these individuals to legally adopt and raise children.

Immediately cancel the tripling of the DMV vehicle licensing fees....

As president of Lorenzo Patino School of Law for more than 20 years, Padilla has helped countless people achieve their dream of an education in law for a fraction of what it would generally cost.

As professional bounty hunter, Padilla say “he has had to make critical and unimaginable decisions while still enforcing the laws of the state of California.”...
