Flight Tracking

I love search.blogger.com, and think it is a wonderful tool to find anything that I've posted in this blog in the last year or so.

There's only one problem - I started this blog in October 2003. For the older posts, I have to go to Blogger's corporate parent, Google, and it takes a little longer to find things that way. Usually I can find a monthly archive, but then have to search through the multi-megabyte archives to find the exact post that I want.

So often I won't bother. For example, I need to track a flight that will arrive at LAX this afternoon, and I used to have two good flight tracker sources, but I'll be danged if I can remember what they were.

So I searched again. Here are a few:

http://www.flightarrivals.com/
http://www.flytecomm.com/cgi-bin/trackflight
http://www.flightview.com/TravelTools/ (didn't list Air India, and didn't have real-time information for my trans-Atlantic flight)
http://www.aeroseek.com/webtrax/ (uses fboweb.com data)
http://www.flight-tracker.com/flighttracker.html (uses flytecomm.com data)
