Suri
The Tabloid Baby Blog researched the word "Suri" and found several references, none of which was Hebrew or Persian.
And Save Dakota Fanning reports:
My lovely, wonderful, and handsome boyfriend speaks Hebrew fluently.
Guess what.
Suri does not mean princess in Hebrew.
It means Syrian.
Leon Robinson, who apparently watches Star Wars whilst drinking his Red Stripe, speculates:
Her name is Suri, which sounds a lot like Surrey, L. Ron Hubbard's home in England. Coincidence? I think not.
But it doesn't matter what Leon thinks, or what you think, or what I think. The All Important Arbiter has...um...weighed in:
At the Conde Nast Traveler party in New York, LINDSAY LOHAN revealed she approved of this star baby name: "That's a pretty name, Suri!"
