I mentioned that I am forced to be in the Bad Place [Los Angeles] for work this weekend but to be fair, there are a few things I enjoy when I am here. Tops on the list is the largest record store in the United States, Amoeba Music in Hollywood. A "record", or "CD" store, for my younger readers, is where people used to buy music on shiny vinyl or metal discs before the invention of your "internet."


Bean, are you saying that when Al Gore set up a peer network with Tipper, he wasn't downloading Frank Zappa songs off her IBM XT?
