On the other side of the pond...

From soccerword.com:

Chelsea all but wrapped up their second consecutive Premier League title with a three goal win over Everton. Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, and Michael Essien scored the goals as the Blues shrugged off a sluggish start to beat ten man Everton....

With a nine point lead and a superior goal difference compared to Man United, Chelsea are virtually gauranteed the title. Man United would have to win all their remaining three games by a considerable margin (6 goals or more), and Chelsea would have to lose their remaining games by a considerable margin (six goals or more) for the Red Devils to have a chance at the title....

Two first half goals from Wayne Rooney were enough to give Man United the victory at White Hart Lane. Jermaine Jenas pulled a goal back for the home side in the second chance, but United held on for the win. They remain nine points behind leaders Chelsea.
