Beyond Vanity
Most labels founded by popular artists (e.g. Apple, Swan Song) may have a few additional bands, but not a whole lot. The most notable exception (other than Reprise) is Madonna's Maverick Records, started in 1992 by Madonna and her then-manager and still going strong over a decade later. In addition to Madonna, here are just a few of the other artists on the label: Michelle Branch, Meshell Ndegeocello, Alanis Morisette, Oakenfold, Prodigy, William Orbit, and a ton of others. They have also released material from Olive.
